Brayden Carlson

My name is Brayden Carlson, I am the Project Manager for Luctatio Productions. I have been raised by Rheannon and Joe Carlson. I grew up in Cedar Falls, Iowa, on a family farm that has helped make me the person I am today. I am a direct reflection of the outstanding job my parents did raising me and are proud to prove that any day. 

I Graduated from Denver Highschool in 2020 and had never really thought of Wartburg as a college I would be interested in going to. It was not until Wartburg announced a shooting team in 2019, that I seriously considered the school for my college career. I signed up for the team on January 20th of 2020. After shooting for a few years, I decided to pursue career opportunities and began working for the Oelwein, Waverly, and Independence Newspapers all housed under Community Newsgroup.  

In my personal life I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, I work for Life Church in Waverly, which is where I met my lovely Wife Katie Carlson, whom I married in October of 2022. My hobbies include youth ministry, hunting, and playing the bass.  

I am excited to be the project manager because I am often used to taking directions and fulfilling a need. This will be a good opportunity for me to get out of my comfort zone and take a leadership role in an environment where I feel everyone will be willing to offer a helping hand.
